Parallel Collective is an independent art space on Södermalm that runs international artist residencies from a house it owns in Oujda, Morocco; memberships fund the programme.

Parallel Collective Gallery is an independent art space at Svartensgatan 10, Södermalm, dedicated to cross-disciplinary contemporary art. The collective runs international artist residencies, anchored by a house it owns in Oujda, Morocco, led on the ground by a local project leader, with traveling craft stops in Fez and Marrakesh where residents work within zellige mosaic and Moroccan craft traditions. Two residency cycles are complete, and expansion is planned toward São Paulo and Tokyo. The platform runs in seven languages, including right-to-left Arabic, and the programme is funded by yearly memberships and grants.
