Residency life
Sho Asakawa arrived from Tokyo as the first international artist to stay with us; nine months later Andréa Spartà became the first Stockholm resident. The residency is no longer a promise.
Open calls
Twice the programme has been handed to strangers: the call that filled Slask 2025 with four exhibitions, and the summer residency call that brought the first Stockholm resident.

Karl Patric Näsman and Christoph Punzmann played the whispering game between Stockholm and Vienna, letting image, sound and material retell each other.

Linda Nurk opened Stockholm Craft Week 2025 at the gallery with silk, cocoons, drinks you could rest your nose on, and an artist talk delivered by her alter ego, the Mad Silk Worm Lady.
The collective
In May 2025, Pompa Shop and Shapeshifter ran a curated pop-up of art, design and vintage at Svartensgatan 10, while the walls changed twice: paintings by Sofia Andersson, then textiles by Lovisa Axén.

Josefin Eklund and Ingrid Arnsand Jonsson’s duo exhibition opened with jelly in April and closed at midnight during Kulturnatten Stockholm 2025, with the DJ collective Sonic Erection at the decks.

Maria Pita Guerreiro’s exhibition ran on live cultures: handblown smiley bowls growing gelatinous films, scoby drinks at the vernissage, and a pun the captions never settled.
