Electrostatus, by re|thread, recontextualises and deconstructs electrostatic experiments, transformators and electromagnetic fields: physical phenomena, perception and cognitive illusions, put to work on how humans interact with the physical world, with each other and with our own brains.
The exhibition holds to the transformative power of the scientific experiment, in and as art. It came with a dress code of its own: come in your finest synthetics or wools, and be prepared to be shocking.
